Getting started

1. Confirm you are 18 or older (age gate on download page)
2. Download Eidovara-v1.0.0-Windows-x64-Setup.exe from GitHub Releases
3. Verify SHA-256 checksum: F29A52F0495AB111A277780706E75ED616B6C236E25C3BDDF36E144ED5326675
4. Run the installer
5. Launch Eidovara from the Start menu or desktop shortcut

18+ age gate

Eidovara requires users to be 18 or older. The age gate appears at:

• Download page (age.html)
• First launch — confirmation required
• Soul feature activation — triple gate (age + enablement + consent)
• Research and media features — 18+ filtered

Local confirmation is not independent identity verification.

Soul layer

Soul is an optional assistant layer. To enable Soul:

1. Be 18 or older (age gate satisfied)
2. Explicitly enable Soul in settings
3. Acknowledge consent for Soul features

Soul provides: configurable personality, persistent continuity, voice/presence, research, media, and tool support. Soul is software, not a consciousness claim.

Troubleshooting

Windows SmartScreen warning

The installer is Authenticode-unsigned. This is expected. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to proceed.

SHA-256 mismatch

Redownload from GitHub Releases and verify the checksum matches F29A52F0495AB111A277780706E75ED616B6C236E25C3BDDF36E144ED5326675.

Soul features unavailable

Ensure you are 18+, have explicitly enabled Soul, and have acknowledged consent. Check the triple-gate requirements.
